There are a lot of great artists out there. Maybe we don´t realize this until we subscribe to a service like DA. I´ve been amazed by the quality of some works I´ve seen here. They are not only professional level art, they are better than most of the things we see around these days. So my quest gets even more difficult. I don´t see how to win a comic contest if I don´t present top notch art to them. Even if my script is good enough, by itself it won´t win the hearts of the editors. There must be some professional level artist bringing it to life. At Zuda, I´ve seen a few pretty bad stories winning the month

Well, it is indeed a tough job finding an artist. I mean, there are thousands around but there seems to be always a problem. Either is the payment I can´t afford or the time that they lack. Of course, I don´t take it personally. And I´m glad they are busy and can charge what they realy deserve to be payed. But, on the other hand, as someone seriously comitted to a comics project, I can´t help but feel disappointed. That won´t stop me from searching. Maybe I´m using the wrong approach in this matter. Hi, all! I´m looking for an artist to work with me in a Zuda submission. My script is almost ready. I was going for a sci-fi story but changed my mind and probably will aim a little lower for this first submission. I´ll go with a police/action story, the sci-fi one I´ll keep for later. :) I don´t want anime style 'cause it is a very hollywoodian type of story, but I am open to any other kind of art.
